Polls open for Guilderland Library vote | News
GUILDERLAND - Polls are now open at elementary schools in Guilderland.
Voters are deciding on a major, public library expansion. The controversial issue has led to half a dozen political style campaign mailings.
Folks at the library say a taxpayer with a $200,000 home would pay $55 more per year for the next 20-years to cover the expansion.
Opponents argue not quite: They say it will be more like $69 a year over that same time, plus added operational costs.
Polls close at 9 p.m. Tuesday.
