Albany Diocese to unveil web-based, interactive map | Events
One-click will now get you to an interactive multi-layered map that will help Catholics and anyone else interested in the Catholic Church to find most of the facilities and services of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Albany and its key components.
Working with the internationally known and locally based map maker, JIMAPCO, the Albany Diocese is launching this service that allows parishioners, prospective parishioners and others to locate and obtain up-to-date introductory information about almost every Catholic institution in the Albany Diocese, including Roman Catholic parishes, schools, cemeteries and a whole host of other church operated facilities throughout the 14-counties in New York that comprise the Albany Diocese.
The Albany Diocese says its new web map will be an valuable tool for Catholics and others looking for any one of a long list of conveniently located services provided by the Albany Diocese, as well as for those who may be moving within the Diocese and seeking out a new parish, or those planning to move into this area from other parts of the country.
This service will be launched online beginning at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 20 by clicking on an image of the map on the home page of the Albany Diocese.
