Guilderland resident to be promoted in NY Air National Guard | Events

On Thursday, June 28 at 11 a.m., New York Air National Guard Brig. Gen. Verle Johnston, a resident of Guilderland, will be promoted to Major General in a ceremony at Division of Military and Naval Affairs Headquarters, located at 330 Old Niskayuna Road in Latham.

Johnston is a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado and holds an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute as well as a law degree from Albany Law School. Additionally, he is a graduate of the Air Command and Staff College and the Air War College.
