Stuyvesant Plaza to hold sidewalk sale June 26 | Business

Stuyvesant Plaza will hold its first sidewalk sale of the season on Saturday, June 26.

The shopping center will be opening early for the sale, starting services at 9:30 a.m. and will run until 6 p.m. Almost all of the plaza's 60 Stores will open up their doors and sell products at reduced prices. For the past 40 years Stuyvesant Plaza has held two sidewalk sales each summer. This summer's second sidewalk sale is planned for August 7.

Stuyvesant Plaza will be undergoing several changes this summer. The first is the expansion and relocation of Different Drummer's Kitchen. Construction is also set for a new sushi restaurant called Mr. Fuji Tokyo Cuisine and for Chipotle's newest Captial Region location.
